We offer a range of solutions designed to meet your needs. If you’re unsure what level of design service is right for you, start with a MicroDesign Consult. From there, we can always expand the scope and provide additional services if needed. There is no obligation to continue beyond the paid consultation.

What service is best for me?
How much does it cost and can I afford it?

Design services typically range from $2,000 to $10,000+, depending on the size and scope of the project. Most kitchen projects fall under our Signature Design Service, while furnishings, paint selections, and design consultations are typically part of our Curated Design Service. All services are priced based on scope, so each project proposal is customized.
No, we are not a design-build firm. We are an independent design studio that works closely with a network of trusted contractors, vendors, and brand representatives. While our role is separate, we collaborate with these professionals throughout the project to help ensure everything runs smoothly.

Are you a Design-Build Firm?
We generally like to see a project from start to finish—from “dust to dream space,” but we are not a project management firm. We can guide you to contractors we love working with and trust, however you will create your own partnerships with them and pay them directly. We will provide the design plans and material selections for you to present to your contractors, or to the contractors we work with regularly. We will help order all materials to prepare you to hand off materials and design plans to your GC or project manager unless you choose to place all purchases yourself.
Do you place orders and align contractors or will I have to manage the whole project myself?

Do you buy materials for me or do I have the option of ordering everything myself?

You have the option to choose your path at the beginning of the project. If you prefer to order all materials yourself we will wrap up all of the design decisions for you and hand you a list of materials to buy. Should you choose to be connected to our reps and visit with our trusted showrooms we will gladly handle all ordering and follow up to make the process seamless and stress-free for you.
Part of a designer’s business model is sourcing products through trusted brand representatives and vendors at wholesale pricing. These items are then provided to our clients at typical retail pricing, while also including the expertise and service that comes with working with a professional designer. As a client, you won’t pay more than retail—but you’ll receive far better service and far less hassle. We handle the details, including ordering, tracking, returns, damages, and misordered items. Because of our established relationships with vendors and reps, we’re able to resolve issues quickly and help your project run smoothly. Hiring us for the whole process ensures it runs smoothly from start to finish, and part of that process is making sure you are prepared and ready for your remodel, and all materials are properly ordered and on site.
What if I don’t like the design?

We are confident we can create a design you’ll love as we’ll be colloborating with you during the whole process. We’ll get to know your style and direction from your initial homework, when you send us your pinterest board or 6-10 images of inspiration, then we’ll constantly ask you questions to get to know your style and needs. We’’ve nailed it thus far! If, at any point in the process, you are unhappy with the direction or want to dive further into a different direction just say so. We offer 2 sets of revisions and take pride in working one-on-one with you to get the design you love. We do not impose OUR design, we work with YOUR design!
What does the process look like? How much communication will we have?

After our complimentary in-home meeting, we’ll follow up with a design agreement and proposal outlining the scope and investment for your project. From there, we guide you through a series of intentional, well-paced meetings. We start with a detailed measure and a deeper dive into your style and goals. We’ll present an initial design with 2–3 thoughtfully developed options. Next we refine—working together to narrow in on materials, finalize details, and make confident decisions. If you'd like to visit showrooms or work with our trusted reps, we’ll guide you through that process as well.
Once everything is finalized, we’ll either handle product ordering for you or prepare everything so you can move forward on your own. We’ll coordinate with your contractor for a smooth design handoff—and then the fun part begins… watching it all come to life.
We’ll communicate clearly through email and text. We will use texting for urgent, fast paced issues and keep most design discussion to emails and in-person communication.
