What are all the things I don’t know, yet?

  • We offer a range of solutions designed to meet your needs. If you’re unsure what level of design is right for you start with a MicroDesign Consult. From there we can always expand the scope and provide additional services if needed. There is no obligation to continue beyond the paid consultation

  • Design services typically range from $2,000-$10,000 depending on the size of the project. Most kitchen projects fall under our Signature Design Service, while furnishings, paint selections and design consultations are typically part of our Curated Design Service. All services are priced on scope, so each project proposal is customized.

  • We are confident we can create a dedign you’ll love as we’ll be collaborating with you during the whole process. We’ll get to know your style and direction from your initial homework, when you send us your pinterest board, or 6-10 images of inspiration, and we’ll constantly ask you questions to get to know your style and needs.

    If, at any point, you are unhappy with the direction, or want to dive further in a different direction just say so! We offer 2 sets of revisions and take pride in working one-on-one with you to get the design you love. We do not impose OUR design, we work with YOUR design!

  • We will communicate with you mostly in person, by phone or by email. We reserve texting to urgent communication. We share our design documentation with you through google workspace documents and you can read about those documents here

  • We generally like to see a project from start to finish, or “dust to dream space,” but we are not a project management firm. We can guide you to contractors we love working with and trust, however you will create partnerships with them directly. We will provide the design plans and materials selections to be handed to those contractors or for you to manage yourself.

    We can streamline all material ordering for your project, unless you choose to place all orders yourself

  • You have the option to choose your path at the beginning of the project. If you prefer to order all materials yourself we will wrap up all of the design decisions for you and hand you a list of materials to buy. Should you choose to be connected to our reps and visit with our trusted showrooms we will gladly handle all ordering and follow up to make the process seamless and stress-free for you.

    Part of our business model is sourcing through trusted brand representatives and vendors at wholesale pricing. These items are then provided to our clients at typical retail pricing, while also including the expertise and service that comes with working with a professional designer. As a client, you won’t pay more than retail—but you’ll receive far better service and far less hassle. We handle all the details of ordering, tracking, returns, damages, and misordered items. Because of our established relationships with vendors we’re able to resolve issues quickly and help you run your project smoothly.

    Hiring us for the whole process ensures things run smoothly from start to finish. Part of that process is making sure you are prepared and ready for your project to begin, and all materials are properly ordered and on site

  • Yes, we are in Denver, Colorado but, no, we are not a design-build firm. We are an independent design studio that works closely with a network of trusted contractors, vendors, and brand representatives. While our role is separate, we collaborate with these professionals throughout the project to ensure everything runs smoothly

  • After our complimentary project assessment meeting, we’ll follow up with a design agreement and proposal outlining the scope and investment for your project. From there we guide you through a series of intentional, well-paced meetings. Read THIS DOCUMENT for a detail of our design process.
