The Humboldt Project

This fun, young couple loved their unique downtown home but wanted to move away from the sterile, industrial feel of the existing kitchen.

We introduced warmth through layered color, texture, and metal finishes—incorporating a checkerboard floor, patterned wall tile, a custom copper hood, and rich green cabinetry.

To tie it all together, we collaborated with a local glass artist to create a custom dining light that shifts with the space—reading as green when off to complement the cabinets, and glowing warm to echo the tone of the copper hood when illuminated.

The result is a vibrant, personalized kitchen full of character and life.
